From the first of November 2020 onwards, I will be working as a senior researcher at the National Rapporteur on Trafficking in Human Beings and Sexual Violence against Children. At the same time, I will remain a visiting researcher the Erasmus University, connected to the Applied Economics Department of the Erasmus School of Economics.
At the National Rapporteur, I’ll be leading two research projects. In the first project, we are investigating what happened to the recommendations of four committees that focused on (sexual) violence (against children) in a variety of contexts. These committees include Deetman (Catholic Church), Samson (Youth Services), De Vries (Sports), and De Winter (Youth Services). For the second project, in collaboration with University students, we will be searching for data sources that can shed a new and more informative light on aspects of human trafficking and (sexual) violence against children.
Update 17 September 2021: On the 31st of August I finished working for the Nationaal Rapporteur Human Trafficking and Violence against Children. I have learned so much and enjoyed working with an incredible team. From the 1st of September 2021 onwards, I’ll be working at the Erasmus University as an assistant professor in Behavioural Economics.
