On Friday the 15th of October 2021, Bekir E. – currently in prison for murdering Hümeyra – testified against Jos B. Jos B. is in prison for the murder of Nicky Verstappen, but until now, it remained unclear how Nicky Verstappen exactly died. Editie NL asked Dr. Annelies Vredeveldt and me – since this testimony is provided by a convicted murderer – whether this has consequences for the reliability of the testimony.
